Fitness for Alzheimer or Fit4Alz is an ERASMUS+ SPORT community project coordinated by IPVC.
The project, supported by the European Union and funded by €400,000, aims to develop tools (digital and manual) and guidelines for the practice of Physical Exercise in people with cognitive decline, such as Alzheimer's patients.
This vision of the practice of Physical Exercise will seek to be more holistic, testing the inclusion of digital and manual instruments for the practice of Physical Exercise. In this way, it is intended to integrate cognitive exercises with motors.
This team includes several partners from different European countries, IPVC (PT), High Performance Brain (NL), Maiêutica (PT), Portuguese Alzheimer's Association (PT), Maia City Council (PT), Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences (PL), Association Sport for all Vojvodina (RS), and Associazion e Sportiva Di lettantistica Margherita Sport e Vita Basket (IT).
